Hey Scarborough! Here's what's happening this week πŸ‘‹

Three projects in Scarborough and Whitby have landed more than Β£250,000 from the Mayor's High Streets Fund, with Eastborough Traders, Crescent Arts in Falsgrave, and a Whitby winter events programme sharing the pot. The wider regional total came to Β£2.3 million. Not a revolution, but real money heading in the right direction.

Elsewhere, North Yorkshire schools have had a good year quietly. A record 96 per cent of families got their first-choice primary - up from 95 per cent last year, and comfortably ahead of the national figure of 92.6 per cent.

Thank ABBA For The Music is back at the Spa Theatre on 11th July, a year after selling it out. The 1626 Suite is there if you want to make a proper night of it.

And if you're after something further afield, Rudding Park near Harrogate - Grade I listed, 300 acres, Best UK Spa Hotel according to The Sunday Times - is offering dinner, rooftop spa, and breakfast as a package deal.
