Hey Scarborough! Here's What’s Happening This Week!
From cheers to complaints, this week’s news covers both celebration and controversy. The Whitby Beer Festival is back from July 24-27, pouring pints for a cause with a souvenir glass included.
Scarborough’s iconic fireworks and Goldwing Parade are also confirmed for September 6 - expect bikes, bands, and a seafront spectacle.
But not everything’s going off with a bang. Whitby’s Metunes Bar is facing a licensing review after over 200 noise complaints and questions over its soundproofing.
